lyrics

let her out of los angeles
she's not pretty any more
let her out of co. wicklow
her knees are getting sore
let her out of rio de janeiro
she's got blood stains on her frock
let her out of sierra leone
she can't see the difference

between a rebel and a soldier
she just sees men with guns
she can see the yellow of their teeth
and the blood shot of their eyes

let her out of hollywood
she's charmed us all enough
let her off her penance
her back in broken and her flesh is torn
let her out of prison
she's swept too many floors
let her leave her veil at home
the sand storm has blown over

what's the difference
between a rebel and a soldier
two men holding guns
their eyes blood shot with hatred
